The battleship USS Iowa BB-61 is here in Richmond, just down Hall ave from the Marina Office. It will be here for a few months getting ready for the trip down to its permanent home in LA. We now have an opportunity to see this work in progress and get a peek of the ship close up.
- There is an unannounced public opening scheduled for this weekend, Sat. and Sun. 10-4.
- The formal opening weekend will be next weekend 12/10 & 11, 10-4 and will run through the end of January when she departs.
